This is the first official issue of Malebox Magazine! The transmasculine community has lately been in dire need of connection. We’re ignored and put aside by the cisnormative world and members of our own trans* community. This isn’t new. Most trans* publications up until that time catered nearly exclusively to MTFs. So why shouldn’t trans guys have their own newsletter? The FTM newsletter, started by transsexual activist Lou Sullivan in the late 1980s and ending in the late 2000s, served as a space for all FTMs to learn about the goings on in their community, find friends, order gender-affirming gear, and create art with transmasculinity in focus. In remembrance, the Trans Guy Archive has elected to take up the mantle.

Malebox is aimed toward readers aged 18+. Reader discretion is advised.
